I still remember the day I joined Yahoo 360 - I was on a quest to create a blog, created an account and wrote a blog entry right away. The entry, I reckon, was about one of the matches played in the ‘07 soccer world cup. While most of my friends had their own website or at blogspot/wordpress blogs, I should say Yahoo 360 lured me with its exquisite themes. Moreover, I bragged about this Yahoo’s service saying it’s one of the best services available. Later I realized that it was not a prudent idea to blog anymore there. Moreover, the fact that other bloggers can’t comment on Yahoo 360 was very stupid. And now not even three years after that, I’m getting a mail from Yahoo saying it is closing Yahoo 360 down! Anyway, I don’t give a damn about it!

What in the world for?
Yesterday, everyone at my office were given a form! While taking a close look at it, it was a suggestion form and we were suposed to fill up that form by giving our valuable suggestions. Some came up with suggestions, some didn’t have any. By the way, I tried to rack my brain hard and pondered some time over the subject. Ultimately, I could only come up with one and that too was realted to the process! But what in the world for did they ask us to come up with suggestions? Well, I haven’t a clue!

No time to read
It has been moe than a week since I read the newspaper completely! Of late, I’m juggling quite a hectic schedule and I hardly find to read the newspapers. Lots and lots of things are happening around and I’m afraid I’m not keeping track of them. I only find time to skim the papers and that is not going to help me in anyway! Newspapers, magazines, novels, novellas - hope I find time to read all that.

Men in Blue flatter to deceive
When India put up a modest total on the board, it wasn’t going to be easy defending it. And with the pitch conducive for batting, a thumping victory for the West Indies was always on the cards! While most of the Indian batsmen failed to score runs, it was the skipper MS Dhoni and the tail ender RP Singh who saved the team from the blushes. Also when the other batsmen got out pretty soon, I always thought 188 was a competitive total. Unlike the India batsmen, the West Indies batsmen took on the bowlers and made good use of the conditions. The ball was pelted to all parts of the ground and chasing down 188 was a walk in the park for the home team. India might have drawn the first blood but in the second ODI they have levelled the series. The series is wide open. India should regroup otherwise it will be too late to react.

Is the pitch that bad?
Earlier during the day, the pitch reports suggested that it was a high scoring game and it could also be similar to what we saw a couple of days back. But this abysmal performance by the Indian batsmen has proved everything wrong. Looked like they were throwing their bat away at everything that came their way and were giving catch practices to the West Indies players. Were the Indian batsmen under the impression that they were playing a 20 over game? Not even 15 overs bowled and more than half of the side were back in the pavilion. Just goes on to show how much the Indian batsmen rely on Yuvraj Singh! By the way, was the pitch that bad to bat on or were the West Indies bowlers too good in their line and lenght? Well, too early to say that. Let the West Indies bastmen start their innings and we will soon find out!

Stephen King or Jeffrey Deaver?
Come next Saturday and I’m ready to start reading novels again. It has been a long time since I read them and it’s about time I start them again. I’m looking forward to read either Stephen King novels or Jeffrey Deaver novels, but my first preference would be the former. However, it’s more likely that I would go with Jeffrey Deaver. It’s just because of the fact that Stephen King novels come out with more than 500 pages and takes more time to read them. Whereas, Jeffrey Deaver novels have comparitively less pages and can be completed within a week’s time. Anway, King or Deaver, I’m all agog to read!
