Shame on you, Shane Warne
Australian stalwart Shane Warne can’t think of a better way to help Ponting’s men win the ongoing Ashes series. Already one down in the series, the visiting side’s hopes of winning the series is looking murkier. Rather than advising Ponting’s men to play the game in the right spirit, he has asked them to get nasty and play aggressive cricket on the field. He has even asked them to sledge England players as much as possible. This uncharacteristic way of handling things makes me wonder if he’s the same individual, who because of his astute and proactive captaincy won the first season of the Indian Premier League.
