Shashi Tharoor may be good at managing austerity drives and Twitter tweets but when it comes to Congess leaders in his state, the minister of state for external affairs is always in a tight spot. Tharoor has been facing the ire for not being able to accommodate more Haj pilgrims in Kerala. Though the ministry of external affairs has permitted him 2, 500 seats in this year’s Haj flights, Tharoor’s list of request has crossed beyond 10, 000 mark.
