Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee recently alleged that the Communist Party of India CPI (M) was hatching a conspiracy to tarnish her image by blocking railway lines. At the drop of a hat, the Marxists block railway tracks and disrupt functioning of the railways is what she feels. She further added that it’s utter rubbish and was done to tarnish her image. Recently, a group of monkeys held up a train at Hooghly sounding an alarm in the railway office in Kolkotta. Eastern Railway officials thought the Marxists were responsible for the blockade and informed the local police station. Guess what the forest officer reportedly replied, pardon me to say that you should contact the forest department for this matter. It’s not Marxists but monkeys who are up to this mischief.

When the funds didn’t get added to my PayPal account, I was in a spot of bother. Although PayPal site showed that the site had been down for sometime, I was optimistic that nothing untoward would happen. So I raised a ticket to the PayPerPost team and within a day’s time, I got a reply from Carry saying things would be up and running within a couple of days’ time. And like Carry promised, everything was up and running the next day. A special mention for Carry whose quick response is much appreciated. Rahul Gandhi will never regret when he didn’t find time to visit God’s own country. Sources say that while he was on a recent visit to Kerala, he had visited a refreshment stall in the suburbs. The tea maker offered a cup of tea on Rahul’s request. Despite the tea tasting insipid, Rahul requested for another cup of tea and drank it without any hesitation. If reports are anything to go by, some of his party members vandalized the small refreshment stall and even sealed it. The reason? The tea didn’t taste good and when his party members asked him how he liked the tea, he disclosed the truth to them. Before all this commotion and before he walked out of the shop, he gave a pat on the tea maker’s shoulder and told him it was very good.

The PMK’s decision to leave AIADMK led alliance held surprise. Apparently, the poll results upset AIADMK chief J Jayalalitha and since then there has been distance between the two parties. But guess what, the PMK cited an AIADMK leader’s appeal to the Madras High Court to include PMK leaders S Ramdoss and Anbumani Ramdoss in case of electoral violence as the reason for the rift. We have explained to the AIADMK leadership that they were not involved in the violence. Yet, the AIADMK leader has gone ahead with his appeal. In deference to the opinion of the PMK office bearers, the party’s executive committee decides to end the alliance, said a PMK release. Conspicuously absent in the executive meeting was Anbumani Ramdoss who would loose the promised Rajya Sabha seat after the split.
Dream party
Guys, this is a post exclusively about my dream party. First of all let me start with the theme - wouldn’t carnival theme party be fantastic? Now do you remember spending summer days at the fair, eating corn dogs and cotton candy, while riding the Ferris wheel and merry-go-round? Well, I can recreate this youthful fun by hosting a carnival in my own backyard. And believe it or not, this is not just for kids; a carnival is a great theme party for any milestone birthday or an end-of-summer, just-because bash. The theme is ready and who would I invite for the party? Well, almost all my near and dear ones. Where would I host the party? As I have mentioned earlier, there’s my spacious backyard. So why should I look for any other place? And regarding the food, I would serve all the toothsome delicacies. That’s all about my dream party. Hope I would host it soon. Now talking about the favorite party I have attended till now, there are quite a lot. But to choose one from them, it would be the one I attended a couple of months back at Eden’s Park. Memorable, I would say because it is worth remembering. Our Manager was leaving to the United States the next day, so she decided to give a party for all of us.We gorged ourselves on all the delicacies served there especially the chocolate and the black forest cake. We whiled away the time at the party and later in the evening, we all went for a movie. Needless to say we had immense fun at the party. That was my favorite!

When Victorian Bushrangers restricted Bangalore Royal Challengers for 127 runs, it was quite evident that they would win the game in a comprehensive and convincing way. Royal Challengers made inroads into the Australian batting line up but it too late. However in the end, David Hussey made sure there was no looking back by striking three towering 6s out of the park. 127 didn’t look enough at all and they wrapped up things way too early. Now going by their clinical performance up till now, it’s quite clear that the Victorian Bushrangers is the team to beat.
