Bombarded with questions on Mayawati’s statues Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi maintained a stoic silence refusing to be provoked into saying anything about the matter. Apparently, the reason behind Abhishek’s silence is that he is a counsel to the person who petitioned the Supreme Court against Mayawati and hence there was a clash of professional and political interests.
