Austerity going overboard

Salman Kursheed grabbed headlines by recommending reduction of CEO salaries. But austerity doesn’t mean doing away with the basics, according to his staff at the ministry of corporate affairs. Such is their plight that even the phone at the reception does not work. And people who would like to make an appointment have to use their own cell phones to seek permission to enter the office upstairs. The staff at the ministry hopes that Kursheed will stop being over-austere about basic needs at least.
