Recently, Raj Thackeray had a visitor from the enemy camp. Anand Paranjpe, a Shiv Sena MP called on him at his residence and spent almost an hour there just when the Shiv Sena drew flak for criticizing Sachin Tendulkar’s statement that he was a proud Maharashtrian but an Indian first. Later when the visit raised eyebrows, the young MP clarified that he had actually gone to invite Raj Thackeray to a wedding. Raj has been close to our family and he had come to visit my ailing father (late MP Prakash), the MP was quoted saying. But Bal Thackeray’s Matoshree has certainly taken note of this sudden love for the younger Thackeray.
