Naza market in Hazratganj, Lucknow, could well be the largest market for Microsoft - round about half a lakh DVDs of Windows 7 are estimated to have been sold there since its official launch on October 22. Guess what, the software giant is not likely to get a single penny from the massive sale, as all of them were pirated copies. The operating system, which the company sells in India for Rs 6000 to Rs 11000 depending on the variant is available for Rs 40 to Rs 250 at Naza Market. Buyers from other states and even Nepal and Bangladesh come to shop here. Naza Market is also famous for producing CDs and DVDs of Bollywood movies within 24 hours of their release.
