It’s official. Detractors of English language have another reason to cheer. A study by the National Brain Research Centre in Gurgaon reveals that Hindi language makes the brain cells work better. Learning the national lingo requires effort from more area of the brain. In fact both sides of the brain are used while English on the other side makes only the left side of the brain sweat. Knowing this Hindi language also facilitates quicker understanding of other tongues. By the way, is the UN listening? Let’s hope so!
